  • Thurman Grant | Architect

    Thurman Grant is a Los Angeles-based architect and educator who specialises in residential and commercial architecture and interiors. He is a former adjunct faculty member at the Woodbury School of Architecture, teaching in the interior architecture and architecture programs as well as through the university’s programs in Italy and China from 2005-2016. Grant has contributed to a long list of built residential, commercial, institutional and urban design projects, as well as award-winning design competitions in the U.S. and Asia. Grant is the former president of the LA Forum for Architecture and Urban Design, where he sat on the board of directors from 2009-2013. His first publication, Dingbat 2.0: The Iconic Los Angeles Apartment as Projection of a Metropolis, was released by DoppelHouse Press in collaboration with the LA Forum in 2016.

    Lexi S. Brunson is owner and active Editor-in-Chief of CopyWrite Magazine. With her role at CopyWrite, Lexi has built a creative network that not only showcases the creative community but serves as advocates and mentors for young writers, designers, and creatives. Obsessed with all things Urban, Lexi is a creative who believes in the importance of building community within the city. She is outspoken (as a tool), confident, and her creativity allows her to view the world WAY outside the box. She has a BFA in Interior Architecture & Design from MIAD, which has guided her research of Urban spaces and has helped her achieve a Masters degree in Media Studies from UW-Milwaukee. She has taught as an art programer & instructor in the non-profit sector, worked as a professional interior designer in corporate America, and is currently an Associate Professor of Writing & Humanities at MIAD.

As Manager of Gray Development group, Nolan has rehabilitated several residential properties with extensive repair needs for local community organizations and first time home owners. He has a passion for rebuilding and investing in the inner city of Milwaukee and a long term goal to rebuild and re-establish neighborhoods across America. Nolan is a full time business manager and has been commended often on his creative vision and strategic planning skills.
